As good as Bedoba's Saperavi is, this is a step up and it truly is a fantastic wine. Rich and complex with lashings of dark berries and brambly fruit, aromatic and spicy, with savoury herb undertones. It strikes a perfect balance between power and elegance, really silky on the palate with the bold flavours balanced with a refined minerality, fine tannins and fresh acidity. Long and harmonious, it's a wine that hugely over delivers against the modest price point - lots of bang for your buck here - and a really interesting label too! The team at Bedoba are doing some great things!
