This is a cracking wine from one the of greatest vintages that Bordeaux has ever seen, and this is now drinking beautifully. It was always a well priced wine but, given the vintage and the age, this is a real bargain. Beautiful notes of bramble fruit and plums, tobacco, cedar, dark chocolate, and smooth toasty oak, it retains such freshness and silkiness that you'd be forgiven for thinking it's a few years younger. A lovely wine.
