Syrah, Garnacha, Garnacha Tintorera / 13.5% / sustainable
A cracking red from the Campo de Borja D.O. where a lot of old vine Garnacha and Syrah is found. This is not over complicated, it's simply a lovely tasting, great value red with bright berry and plum fruit, a hint of spice, a bit of tobacco and toast, supple with fresh acidity, soft tannins, good balance and length. Sometimes life is too complicated so it's nice to sit back and relax with something like this that just hits the spot.
