Villard is one of the great Condrieu producers and this wine is an absolute stunner. Packed with the hallmark peach, apricot, honey and cream that one would expect but nuanced and balanced, beautifully weighted in the mouth with a mineral streak and lovely freshness. It's long and harmonious, a joy to drink now, and will develop further in bottle. Really, really superb.
