Founded in 2009 by Dutch entrepreneur Eric Kurver, his lifelong ambition was to make the world's finest rose, and Maison Saint Aix are certainly up there as one of Provence's leading estates. Their vineyards are biodynamically farmed and the wine is delicious, showcasing the elegance, freshness and refined fruit character that typifies the best of these roses. With the subtle wild berry fruit, melon and grapefruit notes, with soft spice, juicy acidity and minerality, the bottles we drink seem to disappear way too quickly - always a sign of a great wine. Well priced too given the quality.
