Guillaume Vrignaud joined the family domaine in 1999 when his father was a member of the co-op in Chablis and convinced him to build a cellar and start making his own wines.  And, from that point, Domaine Vrignaud have gone from strength to strength.  Now certified organic, they make pure, lean wines and, having tasted lots of different Chablis over the last year, we keep coming back to Vrignaud.  Aged on its lees for extra texture, this is a taut, minerally wine with fresh acidity and lemon, grapefruit and poached pears on the nose and palate.  It's very refreshing and vibrant, a real palate cleanser with wet stones on the finish.  A very refined effort.
