This wine is part of an exciting new collection conceived by Master Sommeliers Gareth Ferreira (CORE by Clare Smyth) and Ronan Sayburn (Le Manoir, 67 Pall Mall), with the objective of showcasing South Africa's most spectacular terroirs and most distinguished winemakers.
An 80% Sauvignon 20% Semillon blend from Duncan Savage (if you love his Savage White, you'll undoubtedly love this), made from fruit supplied by himself and Miles Mossop. This is a white Bordeaux blend and drinks like a top class version of one. Beautifully fresh and balanced with elderflower, pineapple, citrus, zesty acidity and a bit of texture and creaminess. It is very complex and elegant, revealing its nuances over time, as well as being long and refreshing with a streak of minerality running through it. Truly excellent and great value for a wine of this quality.
