Regularly awarded 100 points by the world's top critics, Catena's White Bones Chardonnay is about as good as the variety gets.  Made from select rows within Block 1 of the stunning Adrianna vineyard, the name is derived from the soil underneath the vines, which is laced with fossilised fish and animal bones.  The terroir adds an extraordinary minerality to the wine as well as freshness from the warm days and cool nights.  The result is an exceptional wine which has an amazing floral note that sits alongside the fresh lemon, lime, peach, exotic fruits, minerals and spice.  Pure and fresh, with harmony, balance, tension, elegance, richness, complexity and an astonishing length of flavour, you can probably tell that I love it.  However, I can't decide which of the two (White Bones or White Stones) I prefer - both are incredible.
