A Cotes du Rhone but this is actually a bit more serious than that. From a top biodynamic producer, this is a blend of 50% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 25% Mourvedre, and it's a really cracking wine. Packed full of spicy berry fruits, plums, liquorice, chocolate and herbs with lifted floral aromatic notes, it has good depth of flavour and weight, balanced by fresh acidity and supple tannins. A joy to drink and a wine that over delivers for the price.
