Livio Felluga are one of the pioneers of top quality Italian white wine, with their Terre Alte widely recognised as one of the best whites in the country.  And we love this Illivio too - a blend of Chardonnay, Picolit and Pinot Bianco, weighty but fresh and beautifully balanced, and almost goes down too easily.  Textural on the palate with citrus, galia melon, apple, apricot, quince, buttered popcorn, honey, minerals and more!  Medium plus acidity, this is full yet elegant with great complexity and length.  It would appeal to Chardonnay drinkers that want something a bit different, and it's one of those Italian wines that ages gracefully for 10 years and goes from excellent to sensational.  We've added some to our cellar and recommend you do the same.
