Having worked at some of the world's leading biodynamic estates, Philine Isabelle Dienger settled in Piedmont in 2019 and started making tiny amounts of high quality wine (using Rinaldi's facilities).  She now has her own winery and still makes tiny quantities of high quality wine, which are so difficult to get hold of, it beggars belief (this will be one of the last times we see Preda as the lease on the vineyard has ended).  We have been lucky enough to receive a few bottles of this brilliant Barolo, which is wonderfully elegant and perfumed with finely tuned layers of red berries, cherries, mushrooms, earth, leather and spice.  Silky and fresh enough to enjoy now but with the structure to age gracefully.
