Sandhi were founded by the very highly regarded pair Rajat Parr and Sashi Moorman and we've always loved their wines. So it's great to be able to finally list them. This Sta Rita Hills Chardonnay is a beauty and terrific value. It has richness but it is wonderfully balanced so it all sits in harmony. Crisp citrus, mango, passion fruit, pineapple, peach and vanilla are to the fore and the palate is both creamy and minerally. Well balanced acidity, subtle integrated oak, great length and lovely mouthfeel all contribute to a very fine wine, the only downside being that it disappears too quickly. A real bargain for the quality.
